Divining Inflexions

“Marching in-between the gestures of another hand,
the folded faces are following their assigned suits.
Was it a discarded forfeit or an approved accolade?
Caught in the folds of the catcher’s glove,
she curved the deck and threw it back.
As the “Beguiler” foolishly danced amongst his cues,
the “Weavers Spindle” fleshed out the cards in a mass of pleats. 
Fold upon fold, laying out all of the creases, weaving them in and around her beloved spindle.
Arcing every line over and under, she folded the flesh and hung the deck.
The points that lay hidden within every curve,
inflected the movement needed for the what was, the what is, and the what will be.”
